The City On Film

The City on Film is the official name of Bob Nanna's solo act. He began solo recordings in 1997 during the off-time between Braid tours.The City on Film's sound is generally lighter, slower, and more cerebral than that of either Braid or Hey Mercedes. There are several lyrical connections and similarities across all three acts. This set includes a couple Braid songs and a couple Hey Mercedes songs.

The Swell Season

The 2006 album by Glen Hansard and Czech singer and pianist Markéta Irglová. The title of the album as well as of the song The Swell Season is inspired by Hansard's favourite novel by Josef Škvorecký from 1975 bearing the same title. Since their mutual rise to prominence after starring in the film Once they now sometimes refer to themselves as "The Swell Season" when performing together.

Finishing School

Finishing School is the solo project from Sasha Bell of both The Ladybug Transistor and The Essex Green. Many of the members from those bands were also involved in the recording of this album and the influence of those bands can be heard. Sasha still manages to create her own blend of indie pop.
